Hummbird Affiliate Program Terms
EFFECTIVE 12 OCTOBER 2026
These terms govern participation in the Hummbird affiliate program operated by North Arrow (registering entity of Hummbird, hummbird.io). By applying to or participating in the program you agree to these terms.
1. Enrollment
- Apply via the Hummbird website. We approve applications at our sole discretion and may decline or revoke approval at any time.
- Approved affiliates receive a unique referral link and/or promotion code. Referrals are tracked only through these.
- We may ask you to complete an account with a third-party affiliate platform if we adopt one; your history carries over.
2. Commission
- You earn a share of the revenue we collect from each qualifying referred customer during that customer's first 12 months, counted from their first payment: 20% on monthly plans, 15% on quarterly plans, 10% on annual plans. The rate follows the plan the customer is on at the time of each payment.
- Computed on collected revenue only, net of refunds, chargebacks and taxes. If a customer churns or is refunded, the commission self-adjusts. We never pay out more than we collected.
- No commission accrues after the customer's first 12 months, on their later purchases beyond that window, or on seats, top-ups or products we may exclude in writing.
- We may change the commission rate or structure prospectively with notice; earned commissions are not changed retroactively.
3. Qualifying referrals
- New customers only. The referred person must not have held a paid Hummbird subscription before. A free-trial user who never paid counts as new.
- Attribution. Last referral link clicked within 30 days of signup, or the promotion code used at checkout. A code used at checkout overrides any link attribution.
- One discount per customer. The referred-customer discount never combines with partner member pricing or any other offer. Where a customer qualifies for more than one, the deepest single discount applies and attribution follows that offer.
- We decide in good faith which referrals qualify, and our records are controlling.
4. Referred-customer discount
- Customers who sign up through your link or code receive 20% off their first 3 months.
- Applies to monthly and quarterly plans only. Annual plans are excluded from the discount; your commission still applies to annual purchases.
5. Prohibited conduct
The following forfeit the associated commissions and may end your participation:
- Self-referrals, or referrals of accounts you control, fund or operate.
- Fraudulent, artificial or incentivized signups of any kind.
- Paid advertising on "Hummbird", misspellings or confusingly similar terms, or on our competitors' brand names.
- Content that impersonates Hummbird or could mislead customers into believing it is an official Hummbird channel.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk email or messages, misleading claims about the product or its pricing, or unlawful or defamatory content.
- Listing your code on coupon or deal aggregation sites without our written consent.
6. Payouts
- Paid quarterly, within 30 days after quarter end.
- Minimum payout USD 50; smaller balances roll over to the next quarter.
- Paid by bank transfer (including Wise) to the account you nominate. You are responsible for your own taxes, reporting and withholding.
7. Relationship, termination, liability
- You are an independent contractor. Nothing here creates employment, agency or partnership, and you may not bind Hummbird.
- Either side may end participation at any time. On termination, commissions properly earned up to the termination date remain payable at the next payout run, except commissions forfeited under section 5.
- We may modify these terms prospectively; continued participation after notice is acceptance.
- The program is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost business arising from the program.
